Homework Club (HWC) is funded by the Episcopal Diocese and organized by Rebeckah Lin. It meets Monday nights from 6:00 – 8:00 at the Church of the Guardian Angel in Remington. Over the years, HWC has grown to include nearly 20 students and volunteer tutors every week. Most of the students live within a few blocks of the church, although some come from slightly farther away. Students range in age from 2nd through 11th grade. Many of them have been coming to HWC every week for three or more years. Volunteer tutors are a mix of young professionals, graduate, and undergraduate students.
