The Village Green, Remington’s Community Garden, is in its inaugural growing season and hopes to produce a bounty of food to share among folks in the neighborhood. The project’s success has been the result of massive amounts of volunteers from the surrounding community as well as grants from local non-profits (Civic Works, Johns Hopkins, Parks & People, MD. Cooperative Extension), and contributions from local businesses(Potts & Callahan). We hope to have the trees and bushes in the ground by the fall season and a play area set up.

The garden site is on Fox St, between 28th and 29th Street.
